Robin Thomas in Atlanta.
December 11-13, 2009
Robin Thomas, from New York, will be in Atlanta December 11-13 . This will be his second solo visit to the Atlanta Tango community, after his workshops in February 2007, and all his participations in the Atlanta Tango Festival since the beginnig.
This coming year Robin won't be able to attend the Atlanta Tango Festival, but he wants to make it up to us with a weekend visit. He will also be the guest DJ at MILONGA GUAPA Friday December 11th.
Do not miss this opportunity to learn from one of the most innovative social teachers in the country. No matter what style of tango you like the most, you will like Robin's teaching.
For the few of you who do not know Robin, here are some videos of Robin (feel free to find your own, youtube has plenty of them):

about Robin
Known and respected internationally both as a dancer and DJ, Robin's enthusiasm for Argentine tango can be seen most clearly in his wholehearted dedication to teaching. He believes that it is very important for students to dance simply and musically from the very beginning. Building that strong base of connection and musicality early, Robin believes, will allow even very new beginners to feel comfortable and confident on a crowded dance floor and will also lead to a more comprehensive and fluid understanding of more complicated techniques later on. Robin's teaching style reflects this philosophy, and his students appreciate the humorous but still down-to-earth way he presents the material.
Robin is one of the more sought after Tango DJ's in North America. In addition to his regular milonga in New York, he has been invited to DJ to many successful Tango events in the US, Canada and Europe.
