MUJER. A series of workshops for followers by April Parker
Workshops focusing on follower's techniques... Learn April's tricks on how to master the techniques which are essential to follow ALL leaders confidently, with precision and grace!
MUJER is a series of movement and technique workshops, designed to focus first with in-depth mastery of movement, learning interesting ways to dance different rhythms, and progressing to techniques involving following complicated tango choreography with more ease (and less panic!) and then in later workshops, exploring embellishments, improvisation and musicality.
These workshops are not 'just another' embellishment workshop! April believes that to become the best follower you can be, you must understand the techniques to follow the movements which leaders may use, and once this is understood and learned, you can have the capability to inspire and be inspired by adding musicality and life to your dance and your partner's dance through the comfort of your movement and focus on the music and your partner.
MUJER has received rave reviews from its past and recurring attendees. Don't miss out on another chance to see for yourself why MUJER is the most talked-about workshop that is creating a REAL change for the better for dancers, and inspiring them to new heights.

"Learning Argentine tango is like being in a wonderful yet strenuous love relationship. On some days I feel total bliss; other times I am disillusioned by my own imperfections and consumed by a need to be natural and flawless. My newly found remedy for a balanced tango life is a workshop MUJER 1: Women's Technique Workshop. Fabulously wise teacher April Parker makes it enjoyable and playful. Yet it is a lot of information to absorb. Easy steps, clear instructions, and many small revelations: what a difference it makes. There is however a nagging thought: I need to practice more and a relief: another MUJER Workshop is coming soon." -Katya Vladimirov
"Looking fwd to the next one! Thanks for a fab session Ms. Parker" -Carla Plouin
"You rocked it. Wonderful class" -Alejandra Cristina
